Broughty Ferry—these days, it’s all posh cafés and sea views, but scratch the surface, and you’ll find a history as dark and deadly as anywhere else in Dundee.

On this one-hour walking tour, we’ll uncover the brutal truth behind Broughty’s past. Tales of murders that shocked the town, shipwrecks that left bodies washing up on the shore, and street brawls that would put the Wild West to shame. Oh, and we’ll throw in a visit to an ancient burial ground—because what’s a history tour without a few restless souls?

Your guides, Louise & Stewart—Dundee’s gruesome twosome, will bring the true stories of Broughty’s wildest characters and bloodiest crimes to life, all with the signature banter and historical accuracy you’ve come to expect.

📍 Start: Grassy area at the end of Douglas Terrace (nr Dundee Road opp Victoria Road)
📅 When: July & August – Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays

⏳ Tour length: Approximately 1 hour
⚠️ Suitable for most ages & walking abilities (just a wee step into the graveyard)
