To celebrate the opening of the new Medical Marvels exhibition at Dundee Science Centre, we’ve combined forces to bring you this special event – Curious Curers!
We’ll explore the horrid history of medicine and those who practiced it across not just the city, but in some far flung places across the globe. We’ll make you glad you live in the 21st century with all it’s modern medical technology, and that’s exactly what you’ll be exploring at the new Medical Marvels exhibition at Dundee Science Centre.
This ticket includes a city centre Dark Dundee tour, and time in Dundee Science Centre visiting the new Medical Marvels exhibition, as well as the rest of the centre.
**There are two versions of tickets for this event – this one starts at the Howff cemetery at 3 pm with the Dark Dundee tour, followed by the visit to Dundee Science Centre finishing at 5.30 pm. There is an earlier start time of 2.30 pm which starts at Dundee Science Centre followed by the Dark Dundee tour finishing at 5 pm. To book for the earlier tour click here.**

The tour involves one large set of stairs, approximately 30, as well as a few other stairs along the way. Some of the points involve walking on grass or graveled surfaces, as well as cobbled paths in the cemetery. One of the points is outside the Overgate centre and will have a high level of background noise from people and vehicles. Dundee Science Centre facilities and displays have been designed with ease of disability access in mind.
There are designated parking spaces close to the building, which has a level entrance and a lift to the first floor display area.
