During the pandemic in 2020, while not able to run tours, we found ourselves with enough time to explore the burial grounds of Dundee and took plenty of photos on our journeys. Collected together, these images will show you the graveyards and cemeteries of Dundee, and explain a little about each one including where it is.
Most of the burial grounds are open and free to visit, except two of them which are locked. Roodyards is by appointment with Dundee City Council and the Old Burial Ground for which the key can be picked up from the nearby Ship Inn with a deposit. If you visit them for yourself, please remember many of these cemeteries are still in use so please be respectful.
This collection of images were all taken by us, on our phones and produced by self-publishing. They’re limited to a run of 5,000 books – we won’t ever get any more printed so grab one while you can.
